Charlotte Tabs Aaron Fearne as Interim Head Men's Basketball Coach for 2023-24

Really? Can you show of another example of this happening?

What is Fearne’s buyout? How is Hill going to keep WVU away when they find out how very respected Fearne is in basketball circles? Damn those basketball circles!

Yep:

Is Fearne up for a secret extension? He’s probably already accomplished as much as Sanchez did when he got extended

He is undefeated as head coach at Charlotte. That may be extension worthy.

Yep, 2-0 if I remember correctly unless there were other games that Sanchez missed besides the two in December 2020. Thinking may be another but will check on that.

So the players chose Sanchez’s #2 and Mike Hill folded? That explains the 10 day search. Get ready for a whole new vision of bad basketball results, brought to you by Mike Hill and his bosses, the basketball players:

That or more than likely who are you going hire if all the players say they are leaving? What coach is going come and coach a team made up of mostly walk on of the scraps left in the portal.

If you hire a head coach from another program, he can bring somw of his players and recruits with him. Eother way, you cant make the decision based on what the players want

Probably a coach you pay AAC money.

This is all speculation but sure maybe a new coach does bring a few players/recruits, although their is no guarantee of that. In addition maybe it also is more about who was available, some coaches I am sure turned down the notion simple because it’s June.

It’s fine by me to think other things but there is more plausiable explanation of what really occurred, especially considering it occurred four months before the first practice would occur.

It was a 10 day search. You can call it speculation. I call it a sham search

Like what I heard from Fearne. He has a different style than Sanchez that I think will be a nice change for the team and us.
I am cautiously optimistic that he will put a very competitive team on the floor.

I, as always, will be in the stands cheering them on. Go Niners.

Unfortunately I don’t think we have the horses in the stable to put together a very competetive team in next year’s AAC.

Yep, would say there is a good chance we can be competitive since at this point only surefire NCAAT team is FAU. Everything else between the Boca Owls and bottom feeders Tulsa and UTSA up for grabs.

I’m not convinced our guys are that bad; we’ll see
