Well, standings aside, we lost twice to both of those teams, so they must be bad matchups for us. I know ECU is way bigger than us on the inside. Don’t know what the deal is with FAU. BTW, ECU was picked far above us in preseason polling.
Its quite likely we weren’t going to win the tournament anyway. I guess we have strung together three good efforts in a row at some point in the season, but not lately.
On a bright note, we have a sophomore big who has been coming on strong and played her best career game tonight. IF Cara can retain her players, the team should be better next season.
No reason to not believe in this team. I still believe in this team. Nothing is written in the stars just yet, the future has yet to be determined.
I was shocked when they won the CUSA tourney a couple years ago. It’s not like something like that can’t happen again.

I really like and am pullling for this team. Could they win the Conference? Yes, absolutely. I hope I’m wrong in my opinion that it won’t happen. Still have one key player out as of last game. She was dressed, but did not enter the game. Hopefully, she plays starting Sunday. (Smith)
Niners draw 14th seed Tulane for their second round game. You’d think that would be an easy win except for the fact that we beat them by 2 in Halton and they beat us by 2 in New Orleans.

So far Tulane does not look like a 11-19 (3-15) team! They are well coached and an older team

I wish I could say I’m surprised. I feel bad for our players. The coaching staff had them totally unprepared for this game. I’d like not to hear how we had a game plan and the players didn’t follow it.
Niners look AWWWWFUL. Cant hit anything and poor defense…down 22 points to the 14 seed.
