People bailed before finding out who the new coach was going to be. I know that a couple from the old team are good ones, including one starter who is going to benefit greatly from new coaching. (Rembert)
If I’m not mistaken, one of the conditions of Cara leaving was a home and home with Marquette. That is going to be of interest, provided she lasts long enough for it to happen under her watch.

I think a couple of guards are coming from Jackson State along with the Center who was already announced. A couple of them are Sr and one being a Jr, with talk about experience being needed I can see Ti’lan Boler, 6’1, G Sr 12.1 ppg, 3.9 rpg being one for sure. Mikayla Woods, 5’7, G, Sr 1.2 ppg, and Taylor Woodhouse, 5’7, G, Jr 2.9 ppg would round out those at least Jr and above.
I did see one from UCF Jayla Kelly, 6’3, C, Sr. 3.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg who is coming here, so that is another player along with Kay Kay Green 5’6, G, Sr. 2.7 ppg-Texas A&M and Daphane White, 6’5, F, Gr. 8.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg-Jackson State who are on the transfer list.
Since Coach Reed said they just filled out the rest, not everything is updated for all players, it is easier to wait and see the completed list, but at least this much is known, and the two who withdrew and stayed, made it six instead of eight players leave. What is going to be key for so many teams now is how you get your team to gel, that is a key that Dawn Staley’s team have had for years now.
I have followed coach Reed and found this message board, I have been seeing other ones for years such as Rebkell, UConn Boneyard, Lady Vols Volnation, and McGraws Bench-Notre Dame to follow Womens College Basketball discussions during the season. I did find others with all of the Conference changes, so I bookmarked a few more from Texas, Oklahoma, USC, UCLA to see all the conversations for between now and November.
Coach Reed has some Nice Facilities here, and I did see the EverGreen Vision Projects planned. The Student-Community Gym is really nice. One thing I know was that the Jackson State AD supported Coach Reed, and seems like the AD here will continue to do the same. I’m sure Dawn will come here to Charlotte, so that will make for some excitement. One thing Coach Reed has done is schedule tough Non Conference games, so I would look for that to continue. I’m excited for all of the Native Charlotte Fans, and I look forward to seeing what Coach Reed does here. Everyone have a Great Week and Take Care!

Would think Coach Reed has been in touch with Alexander - at least I hope so! Her ceiling seems very high and wouldn’t be surprised if her HS rating eventually exceeds those of her father and cousin Trey - both 4* rated players in Oklahoma.

Reading through Alexander’s X account and she seems pretty close to Consuegra, which is understandable. Just means Coach Reed needs to turn up the recruiting love!

The Roster is now updated, just names and no pictures yet, a few Graduate Students, so really leaning on experience for this season to pick up the system and get situated maybe a little more easily due to experience. Then the recruiting class coming in next year for the younger players to develop and grow. What is everyone’s thoughts?
