Given her history, It seems unlikely that Daphine White will get and stay healthy for the conference schedule, but if she does, Charlotte could be an large factor in the race.
League recognition for getting a P5 scalp.
This is a busy week for them, two road trips, think they will go from Louisiana to California and stay until the end of the week vs going back to Charlotte for a day and then leaving again?
Including it’s two exhibition games, LSU has scored 100 points or more for every game they have played. What are you all hoping to see out of them going to LSU Wednesday? It is a tough challenge, a lot will depend on how quick they can settle in there, good they just played there first road game, so they have that out of the way.
They are really going to have to have less turnovers and have a really good shooting day, Ga Southern was 10-33 from three, they did manage to score 70 points, but I think them being at home helped with confidence. I think they could keep them under 100 points, but it still being a higher scoring game. It will all depend on how well they settle in to the Atmosphere and play there game. I know that LSU is really talented and deep this year, it just might be too much for them, but this is what Coach needs to see, especially against a team that has proven it can really score the ball.
Hoping everyone has a Great Week and are able to catch live or replay all the games that you want to see, last week was a great start for the Women’s season!
Niners lost to #12 Ohio State by 41 last year, so anything less than that - IMHO - will be a “good” outing.
BTW, first ever meeting with the #5 Bayou Tigers.
LSU already has its first win of the day with the signing of 5* recruit Lola Lampley.
LSU, with another nonconference schedule of mostly cupcakes, is averaging 113.7 PPG through three games.
Crazy first quarter. Technical on LSU for taunting and one on Niners for too many players on the court.
Otherwise, Tigers on pace for 140+.
Announcer- “Charlotte continues to chuck ice cubes”.
Down 62-17. LSU is really good and Coach Reed is clueless.
Did anyone actually think we had a chance in this game? C’mon! ![]()
We are shooting 14%, LSU shooting 54%
From 3pt we are shooting 5%, LSU 64%
Yeah wild stat lines
Just saw the score…holy crap that’s brutal ![]()
Yep, certainly not as close as last time Reed coached a game at LSU and it took a 4th qtr rally by the Tigers to pull out the win.
We’re playing a different sport than LSU. The talent gulf in women’s hoops is ridiculous
Tigers have hit their average - and then some before it’s over!
For WBB I block out every team other than the ones in our conference. It’s the only schools we can hope to be truly competitive against. Wins elsewhere are just nice additions to the W column. There is too large a talent gap right now
