ESPN didn’t have anything to do with Anderson’s boneheaded TikTok post nor Mulkey’s petty response that resulted in all the technicals her team received for taunting. Hopefully Coach Reed has taken care of the former so it doesn’t happen again. Of course, it wasn’t the difference in the outcome of the game. Just no need to give a team like LSU any more motivation than they already have in thus far obliterating their OOC competition.

In spite of ESPN predictor giving the Niners only a 5.3% chance of beating UC Berkeley, this is a winnable game. And apparently no pre-game bulletin board material by any of our players, so that’s a good thing!
Despite final score, Niners actually won the first quarter and then all tied up at halftime (although that was because we only scored 5 in the second frame).
Coach must have reigned in 3 point shooting. Niners finish 2 of 7 while Bears 12 of 27.
Sorta funny to fly out to the Bay Area and end up playing a school named Oakland that is actually located in Michigan.

The world is upside down
So I don’t have the stats for tonights game yet, but Oakland made 11 3’s vs Wisconson who made 8 3’s when they played. Oakland only made 1 3 vs Harvard, who was 16-26 on 3’s when they played yesterday, crazy numbers. This is Coach Newell first year there, and they are in the Horizon League.
I think this was a pretty good week for experience, on the road Wednesday, then to California until Monday. You got your first back to back games this weekend, and seeing an explosive offensive team at there home. I see a lot of teams are really in the putting it together stage, even South Carolina is in that stage, because this is not them being Great yet.
You take everything, yes these are college students, so everything this week was a learning experience. Still more teams in the Cayman Islands & Mississippi St to play among the teams to end the year.
So far giving what you all have seen thus far, just on this team, the rest of the teams in the conference don’t matter right now. Do you all like this years team so far compared to last years version?
At least they get a few days to recover before the next game, some good games this week and weekend!
Sidenote, the Rebkell message board is down, looks like it expired. I know someone who was one of the founders, along those lines passed away I think earlier this year or last year. That was a great message board I liked to read for Womens Basketball.
