Charlotte WBB 🏀

My guess and experience would lead me to believe not if they can play. Coaches typically see talent not color.

With the 6 returnees, that’s 11 players on the 2026-27 roster. Carried 14 last season, so expect another 2-3 signees.

Looks like our starting 5 is set.

G Zoe Best, 5-10 (9.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.4 apg)

G Da’Brya Clark, 5-7 (13.9 ppg, 5 rpg)

F Ja’Navia Gage, 6-3 (5.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg)

F Destinee Salgado, 6-2 (8.1 ppg, 5.5 rpg)

F Charish Thompson, 6-0 (14.2 ppg, 5.3 rpg)

So what are our expectations for women’s hoops this year?

At minimum a winning campaign in league play, which will better position the team for AC tourney seeding. To accomplish that, need to be more consistent. Would think this is make it or break it for Coach Reed, so really need to show some progress.

80niner18, I think your question is being answered
