Young, 7 foot, and can’t transfer without sitting a year. If he develops it will be fun watching!!

clt says we sizekings
Why would he need to sit out a year?
He was saying he could not transfer from Charlotte without sitting a year.
I worry we have too many bigs now and not enough wings.

OK, just misread. BTW, going to be interesting to see how strict NCAA is about multiple transfers.
I’m always sceptical of eastern european basketball players but this guy could be legit. Fearne seems pretty good with these floppy big guys.
He averaged 1ppg last season. If hes legit, it wont be for a while

I think we needed a talented wing. I can only surmise with this signing we are losing some. The only one we could afford to lose would be Jallow because at least for me I wasn’t expecting him to play given history.
Signing all this height I’m guessing we are overall less athletic this next season.

Or we are going NIL above the scholarship limit like we have been doing with football.

When we win it will be 42-41. When we lose… Could be ugly with insufficient perimeter defense. Teams with fast, trigger happy guards are going to eat our lunch if we don’t do something.

I really hope we aren’t wasting NIL money on this roster
Does he dunk like Iti?
The big guys are nice as it should stop or deter some of the penetration we give up.
I still say Ron’s philosophy is out dated. His entire model is to stop and deny penetration first and foremost. The problem is teams aren’t inside out anymore they are outside in. So he is denying the other team something they don’t really want to do. When the other team gets hit behind the arc, as we have seen happen Ron either lets them just run away or finally adjusts his defense out and that opens up all the passing lanes that we don’t know how to shut down because we practice like it’s 2005 not 2023.
Add to that his idea to make it a low scoring game not by playing solid def but by bringing the clock inside of 10 seconds gives the look that we are a solid defensive team when in reality all we are is a bad defensive teams and an inept offensive team.

Can you believe Iti learned to dunk? All things are possible
