Welcome to Charlotte Nick!
We have 2 left
I think they will use at least one of those scholarships on a transfer. I do not think we will have a lot of transfers unless Ron is fired. Also think the struggles of our transfers finding a new home last season may limit who transfers. The season just started so a lot can change.
Fingers crossed this guys good. As expressed in another thread I just donāt see why we arenāt getting better recruits when we are recruiting for the AAC now. We donāt seem to be getting recruits that had any interest from other AAC schools.
Sanchez and staff just donāt seem to be able to get into the running for the talent I expect at this stage.
He is going to have to overachieve from a coaching standpoint to get us to that point.
Fingers crossed for that.
They mentioned at one of the coach caravan stops that they are getting into kids houses that prior to the AAC they couldnāt get a call back. So itās helping, maybe they just arenāt good recruiters though?
Also keep in mind transfers could also be some p5 recruiting them away should someone have a great season.
Samchez is definitely on the hot seat. Donāt think other coaches and recruits donāt know that. Combine that with 17 years of no tournament play and it makes sense.
The move to the aac should give us a boost as nwa mentions, but only for a brief time if we squander them opportunity.
He looks athletic and will be able to add muscle to that large frame. He could be a great addition.
The coaches made improvements on Anzac Rissetto. We just need him to be a bit better than that to have an impact.
I remember a number of people on this board being critical of Khalifa before they saw him play and look at how he developed.
People are never wrong on this board! Khalifa must, therefore, suck.
Breakdown by conference of those we offered but committed elsewhere:
AAC = 2
ACC = 3
A-10 = 1
Big East = 2
Big 12 = 1
Mountain West = 1
Ohio Valley = 1
SEC = 3
So thatās 4 of the so-called Power 6 conferences represented.
Should we be proud like we should be for Jahmir leaving?
Not sure what the relevance is of players we offer going to bigger programs.
Iām talking about the players we land not seeming to have any interest by schools in our own conference or other G5.
Look at verbal commits and see the other schools that were in play for Rolf, Richard and Graves.
We are not landing players that our supposed peers are also in for.

We have to start landing some of these recruits guys.
I donāt think Sanchez worst problem is his coaching. Itās his recruiting.
He had some of the top classes in CUSA his first 2 or 3 years. It has fallen off a lot since then, mostly because he just hasnāt been able to win.
