You say that but knowledge dies fast. As someone the owns a little British car from the 60s it does not take long for people who know things to die off and that’s with basic parts and knowledge around a simple platform.
Hell I’m already having trouble sourcing parts for my 20 Yr old BMW. Once the new market goes away the clock will begin ticking.
Totally different culture in the U.K…where there are so many more car parts and specialty repair shops since they have so many more makes available there.
However, even there the entire industry is aging out, rapidly. They’ll probably hang around for a decade or 2 longer than the USA.
