Fedora made some controversial comments about football and CTE at the ACC shindig in Charlotte today. He managed to deflect some of the mediaâs attention from the self-reported NCAA violations.
Fedoraâs Heels went 8-5 in 2016 with the 1st QB picked in the NFL draft, 2 NFL quality RBs, and several WRs that were drafted in 2017 and 2018. One was a surprising star for the Eagles. In 2017, UNC was 3-9. (I thought they were 4-8, but their badness exceeded my recollection of their stinkitude.)
If the Heels have another losing record and the violations result in any penalties, heâs probably gone.
UNC is downsizing Kenan Stadium. Half a century+ of boring and underachieving football has its consequences.
I know they had one good year a few years back, but that program has been in a meteoric downward spiral since they were caught cheating. It wasnât too long ago they expanded that stadium, and Butch Davis had people excited about the program.
Couldnât happen to a better bunch. I hate it for them.

So Bubba, you have gone from epic academic fraud involving faculty, staff, coaches, boosters and players, to fraudulent rule breaking that apparently only involved players. Some might call that progress.
