Anyone catch the conversation between Lutz and Hobbs yelling back and forth at the end of the game. I wonder what that was about. It looked like he said something about us running up the score.
Also, I have grown to appreciate Bobby addressing the crowd in the final home game of every season. Rather it’s been a good season or not, rather we have won or lost, he always address the crowd in the final home game. I am not sure how common this is at other schools but this is something I have always admired about him.
I always thought that when he took the mic after every home game, he tends to bring the fans a little closer to the team and himself. Bobby is a classy guy and also one of the nicest people ive met. I really hope he’s here next year.

I hate GW…after their president taking swipes at us a couple years ago. They’re elitists. We are 1-5 against them now in league play, you gotta step on their throat when you can.

He is. So are members of his immediate and distant family.
at the end of the duquesne game… after the handshakes… I think it was phaler who circled around, reached over the scorers tables and high fived a couple of people in the front row, then others reached out and he obliged all the way down… then the rest of the team quickly followed suit. behind him. I thought that was pretty damn sweet. Then lutz got on and talked about sr day, and thanked the students who stuck around during break, and the alumni side for showing up.

Especially after we got jobbed at their place the year we had the game won and the refs gave Lee a T for throwing an elbow after they were NOT called for a foul after grabbing his jersey. damn 'em!
my understanding from ppl who were watching that a couple F You's were dropped between the two of them - initiated by Hobbs.
Multiple people who were not sitting togehter said they saw it - I didnt personally, so take it for whats its worth.
Confirmed. I was behind the cheerleaders so Hobbs’ back was to me. But it looked like Hobbs was staring at Bobby as GW basically gave up and we got like 6 easy fast break points. Bobby saw Hobbs staring and raised his arms in the air, eyes got wide, and I believe he said, “What the &*$# are you looking at?” and then Hobbs smirked at him and turned around shaking his head. I thought Bobby was going to clothes line him when they went to shake hands.

Hobbs is a tool - what a poor sport. If the shoe had been on the other foot, I’m sure he would’ve acted like an even bigger ass. Hobbs is a cheater and a tool. Let’s not forget his very unethical if not illegal recruiting and manipulation of transcripts of a few years back.
