that mathis guy shouldnt be allowed on tv. you wonder how he got his job in the first place. it is obvious when an interviewer doesnt do his research. and who asked the free throw question? we were first in the conference in free throws.
Yeah, Mathis tried to dog out Lutz for losing a bunch a games in the past couple of years, but Coach Major was class act like he has been so far. Coach praised Lutz for what he did for the program. He did mention his concern about a PG. Great to see our Coach getting in some PR for Charlotte. I’m going back to bed for a quick nap now…
Someone really should have warned coach about clowns like Mathis and McClain. TF, you didn’t miss anything we haven’t already heard. He talked about using the beautiful campus as a recruiting tool, building player relationships, etc. He mentioned we may have to do “pg by committee”, but I feel like we will bring in another pg before the season starts. Whoever emailed the question ab ft shooting didn’t pay attention last year, but yeah traditionally we are horrible at the line.
Is Briscoe a done deal?

I don’t see why he wouldn’t stay. I think the talk of him leaving is pretty ridiculous given the massive amount of playing time coming this way, but you never know. I’m sure he was sold on Bobby’s game plan for him, and now Bobby is gone. Hopefully he stays. Briscoe at the 1 and Green at the 2 would be a very dangerous back court.

Thats not really true either------unless by “traditionally” you only mean for 2-3 years before this past season, because FT shooting has actually been a strengthe of ours going back to the 80s Mullins teams, Watkins and the first 8-9 years of Lutz reign. Its only recently that we took a nose-dive at the FT line.

That is the worst interview ever. Example of a real question from Mathis. “How do you come into a program that he (Lutz) was the winningest 49ers basketball coach but he didn’t win but they liked him, how do you change that perspective?”
WTF? I would not have been surprised if he just got up and left.

This is the first time I saw Fox News Rising and I have to say I am not impressed with there broadcasting program. I wonder if I would be a better hire for the show?
You guys are talking about mark mathis right? he was hilarious as a drunken weatherman… haven’t seem him in FNR
I like it - of course they have given us lots of coverage. Tera Blake is hot, Anna is hot and Dao Vu is hot. Wilson is the man. Mathis is the weak link for sure.
