Most of you already know, but for the few that missed it, Colby Lewis, will be a walk on for us this year according to Ninerreport. It’s rather convenient for us that he is the older brother of Tyler Lewis a talented kid we hope to land down the road.
i would say most likely he had division two offers and some low major division one interest, much like parks, although i expect more out of parks than out of lewis. no disrespect to lewis intended because i am glad we have him.
Wow. I really don’t know what to expect anymore. I guess maybe he will contribute some games or something. The more people we have the better for practice games, and well this helps with Ian and Rashad leaving at the end of the year.
Walking on gets you a uniform and an obligation to the team. Doesn’t make the house any more crowded. Coach could ask him to do jumping jacks on the sidelines during practice if he wanted.
Hope it’s a situation though that benefits both him and the team. Usually is.
no matter what, this is a huge advantage we have over every other school recruiting his brother, tyler. i hope that colby enjoys his experience here enough to become our best recruiter in 2011/2012. i suspect he will. welcome to charlotte!

How about some talented brother chemistry in Charlotte’s near future?!?!
i think he has the potential at some point in his career to maybe contribute a couple minutes per game. the kid is a pretty good shooter but really needs work on his ballhandling in order to play division one basketball. still, i am happy about the addition.
Plus Briscoe (walk-on/sitout) while he waits for a scholarship.
Plus Church & Pride
I heard a from a source that Tremaine might not be with the team at all, we do have an abundance of recruited guards that will be out there for Dijuan to play against, especially since he’s now been cleared to play.
