Looks like House settlement may not clarify if international student-athletes can participate in NIL + rev share.
Let’s not act like they aren’t getting it. They are. It’s just will they let it be cleaner and directly to players vs their handler or whoever.

What’s going to be interesting is if Texas passes the proposed law that would limit athletic scholarships for international students.

While this isn’t the type of relegation many of us have referred to, it might be the type of relegation we get. While I wish we could go back and not have NIL, etc, we can’t and this is the new world of college athletics. This will at least give us a target, if we ever want to “move up”.

I think Pernetti may have made a huge mistake here.
If they have to put schools in “review” and they want to kick them out who the hell are they going to get to replace them??
Are schools in the G5 going to be beating the doors down to join a league that has this minimum spend rule?
This will work in the P4 where there is a ton of revenue. I have serious doubts it’s going to work in the G6 where the revenue is lacking.
And can anyone tell me if Pernetti has delivered commensurate increases in revenue for the conference via media deals?
