I looked up Hines and $2M is the figure listed for him. Of course have no idea what his agent is asking for - and neither does the Thunderbird guy - but if heās any good going to certainly not undersell his client.

I find that extremely hard to believe. To the point itās laughable.
Oh, I completely agree itās insane. Maybe thatās just what Bonkeās people told our program. It came from what has been a very reliable source of information about the basketball program.
Put it in perspective. Itās been widely reported Yaxel Lindeborg got around 3 million.
The market for Bonke would be a small fraction of that.
If someone would pay that for Bonke, its time to close uo shop.

Unfortunately the price increases every year. Someone also said Gomez was offered $700k and he barely touched the floor this year.
These numbers are a bunch of BS.
No one like Gomez is getting that.
I guess if we start winning big again I would be somewhat excited but as of right now I have zero interest in college hoops

My mood always improve once we have a team in place and then the eternal hope of a good season returns every year.

5 mil is equivalent to the 10th pick of the 1st round of the NBA draft. A top 10 lottery pick! Hell, Louisville is not even a B10 or SEC schoolā¦.Who is going to be the first to stand up against this.
If economy continues with these oil shocks some of these NIL checks might bounce or never arrive.

The recent news that every FCS school is also losing money makes me think the future for the G6 and everyone outside of the P4 to keep college sports going is to cut costs down to the bone.
That FCS schools are losing money actually isnāt news. Got clicks though and that was the purpose of the NC Sports Network piece.
