ACC, Big 10, and Pac-12 - the so-called Alliance - were the NO votes that scuttled the expansion.
So confusing - looks like the Rose Bowl card got played by Warren? CFP expansion looking unlikely with these actors:
After expansion was doomed because of the ACC, B1G and Pac12 went with Rose Bowl complaint to position for the next round.

There is so much common sense in that article that it hurts to read. None of it is new though - fans have been saying it for years. Which makes it hurt even more. These alliance commissioners are gatekeeping the sport and ruining it for all fans.
BTW, they absolutely need to do the 6 strongest conference champions model and not AQs. That opens the door for quasi relegation - a well run G5 league could functionally supplant a poorly run P5 league by placing their champ year after year. Itâs much more of a meritocracy approach than the aristocracy that the B1G wants to promote.
