Expansion will cease when they can get the entire sec into the playoffs. ![]()

Probably but it’s the Big 10 pushing for a 24 team playoff that’s holding up a move to 16.

Congrats to IU.

Been a while. Probably my favorite thing about IU winning.
Also I was right about IU being the best team in the B1G
Closer game than I expected. I thought IU would put this away in the first half
clt says we scheduled IU thinking we would get paid and potentially a big10 win. oh how the turntables turned
One main reason I was pulling for the Hoosiers and am glad they won is that they have scheduled us in basketball and football, while other high profile schools have always dodged us.
Our last second basketball win at their place is a top 10 NINER highlight.
And played us AT Halton one of those times.
Yep. They wore the red striped warm up pant.
That was a great game.
I was rooting for IU for many reasons, but mainly to have a new first time champion, to break the blue chip ratio, to upset the traditional sacred cows of CFB, cause Cignetti seems cool, and also to just simply complete a fairy tale ending to this two year story.
I’m not gonna be shocked if Oregon pushes on to the title next year. Sooner or later it has to happen.
Hunter Bailey answers some Charlotte fans asking if we ever interviewed Cignetti before we hired Healy.

That’s an awesome stat. Dang.
Will be interesting to how long Mark Cuban keeps the train going there.
Everyone give till it hurts so we can make a run again next year.
FWIW, Cuban just recently got on board the IU train.
Lol “winning in years”. Based on that logic B12 is a G6 league.
I can see thinking the SEC believes they don’t need it as being conceited. But I feel wanting more automatic qualifiers is much worse, thinking you automatically deserve something without merit.
I assure you one thing. If the CFP expands tomorrow to 16 schools, with 4 automatic qualifiers for each of the P4 conferences, the ACC, B10 and B12 are not going to fight any harder for G6 schools to be included than the SEC would.

One thing’s certain, Indiana winning put’s a wrinkle in the 36 team new division theory, with Indiana being left out in the cold.
