If I’m ESPN and wanted that late night window, why would I pay them ACC rates when I could pay them at AAC levels (with a bump)?
They got to shoot their shot but don’t see this happening.

Why in gods name the ACC thinks bringing those two in would be a good idea is completely beyond me.
They will add nothing and cost the schools a fortune in travel.

Academic reputation is not going to generate revenue or cut costs.
It has no worth in this discussion and I don’t understand why they are even looking at this.
This is a subtle jab at the ACC. That they are looking at adding leftovers the Big12 doesn’t want.
Cal and Stanford might join the ACC in football only to give them late night inventory but I suspect their other sports would join the West Coast Conference.
