Conference Realignment (Part 2) ๐Ÿ—บ

Bowl game

Yeah, have to admit I canโ€™t recall with certainty that it was a bowl game. And even if it was, not D-I anyway.

Poorly researched and written:

Things are getting interesting:

Memphis has definitely earned it, sustained both strong Football & Basketball over a long period of time with a really good fan base.

If youโ€™re going to write about potential realignment, probably a good thing to be up to date on the subject. Geez!

Are there bowl games outside of the FBS level?

Only one I can think of is the HBCU bowl game, Celebration Bowl, I think itโ€™s called.

Yes, there have been bowl games outside the FBS level. JC Smith played in the now defunct Pioneer Bowl a couple of times.

Woah.

Well, that was one of the worst kept secrets on the realignment scene. Now the big question is will the Pac-12 stand pat with maintaining a presence in the SoCal area through the addition of SDSU or are they looking to get back to a dozen or even more. And, of course, still waiting to see what Colorado decides to do.
