This is what a lot of these schools will face if there is a breakaway. Look at some of those win %s. They are so propped up by playing home games with friendly officials against mid majors and FCS schools.
Will their fans tolerate it if this is their entire season every year?

UNC-CH won the very first Directorsâ Cup in 1994. Then Stanford took the top spot 25 years in a row. Since the pandemic, Texas has won 4 of last 5, with the Cardinal beating out the Longhorns in 2023. In fact, Stanford is the only school to have finished top 10 every season.

Wouldnât say I am as offended as Parrish but this rebrand is definitely very unoriginal and just downright lazy. And I suspect the ânewâ Metro paid a PR firm handsomely too!
