Cross reference this list with the schools with the most money and ticket sales and you have your p2 winners.
clt is 101% cool with those 18 schools forming a conference and breaking away
That chart shows if the PAC had been able to take Texas and OU in they would still be alive.
Shocker here, but i couldn’t care less if there was a tier 2 that Charlotte competed in. We’re constantly talking about how poor merchandise is, how poor media coverage is, how bad attendance is and all of that is going to magically get better when we move to tier 2? You guys are really trying to spin it positively, but unrealistically IMO.

clt says smu joining a dying conference
I was not around when SMU’s program was winning or when it received the “death penalty”. It’s almost crazy reading about it now given the NCAA’s new form. SMU was a pioneer, 50 years ahead of its time. Now, SMU’s “slush fund” is an “NIL Collective”. If anyone deserves to pay-to-win, it’s them.
SMU wasn’t a trend setter - just dumb enough to get caught or most likely, ratted out by a fellow SWC member.
Watch the 30 for 30 The Pony Excess. It explains it pretty well and it’s a really good watch. They basically were too arrogant for their own good and we’re warned repeatedly before the NCAA said Enough!
I have met a couple SMU grads and they are a little much to say the least…
Stupid lost touch of the value of money types
Was thinking all the P5 realignment moves occurred today but some will happen in August:
Welcome to D-I Mercyhurst (NEC) and West Georgia (ASUN)!
If FSU and Clemson leave the ACC I believe ESPN has the option within the next two years to opt out of the long-term TV deal through 2035 with the ACC.
