What really gets me down and I’m really thinking about it now, is last year we were in position going into the tournament to make some noise. The past year has been nothing short of a shit storm since. Excruciatingly sad for me.

JUST IN: Pfizer’s Covid vaccine stopped 89.4% of transmission in Israel, the first real-world sign that immunization will curb the spread of coronavirus
The early results on lab-confirmed infections are important because they show the vaccine may also prevent asymptomatic carriers from spreading the virus that causes Covid-19, something that hadn’t been clear so far. Stopping transmission in this way is a key factor as countries seek to lift contact restrictions and re-open economies.
Folks - this is excellent news. The risk was that the vaccine would prevent infection but not transmission. If this continues to play out in further study, a more normal fall sports season is looking very viable.
HS and college sport events can 30 percent capacity. Goes into effect Friday.
So does this mean fans+ for baseball?
I hope so, but who knows with Mecklenburg County?

181 at baseball, 820 at soccer. Little disappointed baseball is so low, thought the grass down the first base line could be factored into the calculations. Still on the positive at least we’re trending in the right direction.
