As with most of these āattacksā my guess is the shark was simply mistook the boat for some animal. However, it did make for a cool video and pretty sure it scared the bejesus out of that boater.

Russia seems desperate to quickly assess the actual capabilities of their hypersonic missiles. It seems they substantially overestimated the capabilities of their hypersonic missiles against a network of Patriots that are waiting for them. Maybe their hypersonic missiles are best against unsuspecting enemies at longer ranges?
The reports that their hypersonic missiles must decelerate near the target seems a potentially nullifying design flaw. That leads me to speculate that they cannot properly aim the weapon at more effective speeds.
This is a huge deal. Russian hypersonic missile propaganda by Putin was intended to be intimidating and sent our defense department into an apparent mode of rapid development with similar weapons and their countermeasures. Thanks Russia.
