We live in an increasingly drab world.
The thread goes on to talk about this trend across a whole bunch of other things, including interior design, etc. Iâve talked about it a bunch with my wife in the past⌠I think cars in particular are so freaking boring anymore. I hope the pendulum swings back towards some variety and bright colors again in the future.
I love a black car but ugh the work keeping it clean.
I think the color choice is just a reflection of a viewing cars as more utilitarian appliances.
Iâm pushing wife to go bright yellow on the bronco whenever we do it.
Bright colors also usually work best on sports cars and off road cars and what most companies sell now are 4 door cars trucks and SUVs.
Iâm surprised green has disappeared almost completely. Loved my green grand cherokee and my wife has a gorgeous green landrover right now.
