My truck is deep green, love the color. I get more compliments on it than any vehicle I’ve had.

I am another huge fan of dark green cars, especially trucks and luxury sports cars. Predates my Niner days as well.
And that bump in green cars in the 90s was almost all green Grand Cherokees. I’m willing to bet good money on it. And for good reason - they looked great. Those things were ridiculous. They were like Kia Tellurides now… You could buy them, drive them for a year or two, and then sell them for pretty much what you bought them for. Until the Telluride, never thought I’d see that again.

My first car was 1995 Orvis edition Grand Cherokee. Bought it for $2000 from my uncle put over 100k miles on it and sold it for $2500 five years later. Loved that thing, its probably still on the road even though it had 337K miles when I sold it.

I had a dark metallic green’97 Honda Accord and loved it. It looked black in low light.

My dark green explorer was clutch. Solid it with 190k and only work ever done on it was timing chain.

I wish my current ride was dark green, but I also kinda wish I could get like a yellow / orange Bronco, or a cornflower blue Jeep or Audi (totally different but looks good on both).
I am really tired of gray cars. It’s boring.
I had an old AMC that was so old it was 7 tones of yellow
