Bill Gates was saying late last year that it will be 10 years before we are mostly replaced by AI (he also said there will be a “2 day work week” - though I doubt that’s with regular pay). I think he was wrong. It’s going to be much sooner.
There are a ton of job that will be replaced by AI, mostly office work. I think we’re pretty far from trade and specialty manufacturing being done by robots though.
