100% correct. Packer is the absolute worst. Arrogant,condescending, rude and all for no apparent reason. He was never especially intelligent, insightful or even entertaining.

He just celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary as well as the marriage of one of his daughters. I actually attended the same church as Packer a number of years ago but don’t recall much more than that. Sort of similar to my more recent experience of belonging to the same congregation as Mike Hill and his family - only see them occasionally. Anyway, hope MP enjoys his retirement etc but won’t miss his ACC takes.
