We were talking about this a little in the EV thread. This is pretty significant if they can ever mass scale / distribute it. One step closer to little fusion reactors powering entire neighborhoods - no matter what corner of the globe you are in. Still probably a long way out, but maybe a few of us will live to see it.
Pretty significant moment in human history if it completely pans out. Near limitless clean, safe energy for all of humanity.
