He carried his team to an undefeated season, avg. 24 ppg, conference POY, likely all-stater? (tba in mid March), above avg court vision/awareness, 75% FT%. If Coach Major is satisfied with his A/TO and defense, I can see why he offered.

Has he accepted? That was fast if he has.
Right below his description was the one for Maddesen Jones. Who sounds better is rated higher AND STILL undecided. Can some one give me a good reason why we did not continue to go after this kid?
He has not committed here. The staff, from my last conversation was not recruiting Jones. That could have changed.
Why are you hung up on ratings? They mean nothing when someone steps on campus. If the staff thinks he’s the better fit, I’ll trust them until they show me they can’t recruit.

Needs for this team are a backup pg (or a starter at some point) and a true center. If Thorne can contribute next year, then can probably wait on the center. But the lack of a pg is a problem. Mayfield has done as well as can be expected in the role when called upon, but I’d rather see him in a scoring role.

He certainly presents himself well. Love recruiting winners. I’ll be happy if he signs here. We need another PG.
I’ve been excited about him, hope he chooses us. Not sure he is a pure outside shooter, but sounds like a winner who can put up some points if need be. I like that he has had a huge senior season.

Sorry I just can’t get excited about a kid who over three recruiting services has an average star rating of 0.3. Don’t get me wrong if he chooses us I will cheer for him and hope he proves me wrong.
We just got owned and and some of the down trodden on here also described the atomsphere at the game as our gym being taken over by St. Bonnie. Need to get the star gazer out of your eyes.
If you went by recruiting services and stars why would you even venture out to scout the kids yourself. Does a kid without stars not provide value for your team in a specific role?
Well, you have to figure he’s a scorer and I don’t think he’d be brought here to be a starter.
We’re not gonna get 3* to come here and play backup for 3 years.
