Does that mean Vincent Williams is falling thru for UGA. I can not see them signing 2 PG’s over the same weekend.
We have a good relationship with Green, so things look good. He knows the path that Dijuan has taken, and how the coaching staff have greatly developed Dijuan from only a year in JUCO.
Green is not caught up in the BCS hype, just wants a good fit.
He can shoot and handle the ball…again, PERFECT PG/Combo guard for our system.
He would make an immediate impact on our program next year and then the following two years it will be his show like Dijuan did this season.
I was there playing, can’t say for sure that I saw him there. There was one guy there with Charlotte Basketball shorts on who I know helps out at practices (like as an assistant trainer or something like that.) There were two guys playing with him, I guess Green could have been one of them, I just haven’t seen enough pictures of Green to say that for sure.
Very athletic, similar build and athletic type as Coleman, and they were matched up on each other the majority of the games. Is definitely a combo guard, leaning more towards SG then PG, drained quite a few 3s today, but his passes were pretty good as well. He is a little on the thin side, but I don’t see him having a problem adding another 10 lbs, he has a good frame.
Better passer, maybe a better three point shooter(hard to tell in a game like that), a little faster, slightly less vertical.
Was Dijuan not playing? He should have been running the pt. I did hear he was very athletic, made it look effortless.
We’ll be in great shape if we land him. We have to get more athletic at guard.
The more I hear about this guy the more I hope we get him. I’d even rather get him than a random 2-3 star freshman anyway. Sounds like he’d make a pretty good backup this year and an effective starter the 2 years after that.
I am trying not to get to hyped about anyone until I see them in the regular season. I will however listen and make a good assessment of them. Numbers and class rankings do nothing for me after the year that Charlotte was ranked 13th in incoming class.
I will say I am getting a little more excited about next years team and the players coming in and the ones we are pursuing but won’t get hyped that we are going to be a sweet sixteen team or anything. I will purchase my season tickets like always and cheer my Niners on!
Using the Sanders test, he should end up not at Georgia. Remember how muched he loved Nebraska. Said it was a 10 out of 10. Couple days later, he goes to UAB.

That was a HoopScoop ranking, and is based on the sheer number of recruits you bring in. When we are Top 25 in the Rivals or Scout rankings, then I would not doubt it as much. Look at the Sweet 16 teams compared to their rankings over the last 4 years, and you’ll see a lot of the same teams on each list. We weren’t in either of those rankings the year HoopScoop ranked us that high. The only big bust I’ve seen us have (as far as the websites hyping someone who was not legit) was Iti. He was the #1 or #2 center according to ESPN and others the year we landed him. Granted, he would have helped us eventually had he stuck around, but he was nowhere close to being #1 or #2 in the nation at his position.
