+1. I have backed Major and thought last year was a really great step. That is, if we added a couple players here and there and our returning core improved. Not with 2 of our major contributors leaving for reasons only the coaching staff knows and bringing no one in. If true next year we donât have enough bodies to be good. Not happy about this. Someone has to be held accountable.
You know Charlotte is in trouble whenâŚ
even the Observer takes notice. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/04/24/4002175/with-urgency-rising-charlotte.html
Could these guys be leaving because the conference we are going to is so shitty?
If we granted a release does that mean he could play anywhere and not have to sit out?
No, basically heâs just asking permission to open himself up for transfer recruiting. I think.
This might tell us why we donât have any recruits. If they were talking to Clark and evic and even braz and maybe twill they prob did not walk away feeling like chaflotte was a good place to be.
I think what concerns me the most is I thought EVic was a high character kid out of highschool, the prototype recruit for the new Charlotte basketball culture.
If heâs leaving it just seems like a huge indictment of our coaching staff.
Donât just complain on here, be sure your questions, concerns and frustrations are heard.
Someone needs to answer for what exactly is going on. This has gone on for too long, and we are looking at what will eventually be a lost decade of niner basketball.

I just want to know the overall reason for their dissatisfaction. We far too frequently hear players taking shots at the program. Derrioâs whining on twitter couple seaons back was the smoke. Young players leaving is the fire.
Get some supplies. Youâre gonna be here for a while.

I believe the Alan Major era of Charlotte basketball is over. Next year is going to be a train wreck.
Iâve given Alan my support since his hiring behind the benefit of doubt that âSpears was a bad kidâ, âthis is what it takes to rebuildâ and ânow he has his kids, but they are all youngâ. Last season seemed to be a good sign.
But why have we no new recruits? And why are we loosing players who would have seen higher PT? After what appeared to be a successful 21 win season?
Consider me in full WTF mode. I hope this coach has an ace up his sleeve, or he and our team are toast.

Iâm not williing to wait a decade. My son would be 14yrs old. We are supporters of this athletic program and always will be, but we have to fix this now. Iâm hoping there is a plan that many cannot seeâŚif not, someone needs to be putting one together. We have some good pieces to this team, but they need helpâŚ
This is the part that kills me⌠Clark had the chance to start ALL THE GAMES next yearâŚ
AM has never struck me as much of a communicator. He is awful with the media, looks like he isnât much better with his players.
Wow. Alan Major better start polishing his resume.
So starters?
Henry
Lester
TWill
Clark
Thorne
:blank:
Clayton, not Clark. Not a bad line up, too bad we only have 2 guys on our bench.
agree i think major is gone, maybe not this year but next year.
