Ebuka Izundu - 2015 C - requested release from LOI

ODU fan here. Some probably recognize me from the CSN boards. This looks like an awesome get. Major seems to do well on the recruiting trails.

How divided is the fan base on his future?
the way we look at it is that we, at least on paper, have a lot of talent and are completly underutilizing it.
I for one am questioning the talent (as well as coaching) we have as we keep losing. I think Dorn and Woods has hit everyone’s freshman expectations but our upperclassmen where we were super pumped with them as underclasmen and felt they would continue to progress and be the stars in their last couple years, just isn’t happening and very disappointing. It says something when freshmen can come in and take away minutes from upperclassmen and lead the team in scoring (for the time being anyways).

PPG
Henry 10
Thorne 9
Clayton 9
Twill 8

Dorn 12
BO 11
Woods 9

Per Big O, 14 pts and 5 fouls in 57-51 loss to the Burlington School (31-1) in the NCISAA 1A title game in Asheville. When he fouled out with three minutes to go, Victory Christian (27-7) led 47-45 before TBS went on to avenge their only loss of the season back in December.

It’s not really split. I don’t think anybody thinks he’s done enough to be back.

The only thing any of us really care about now is keeping some of the guys he’s brought in.

Kind of a shame, looks like a good recruiter and pretty good guy but he’s had 5 years and that’s long enough.

Named NCISAA all-state, as were teammate Ty Gadsden and younger sister Lillian Izundu, a sophomore on the VC girls basketball team.

not sure if this video has been posted on here but i thought i would show everybody.

I noticed he keeps the ball high when he catches it and goes up with it which is a good habit to have.

Named 1st team all observer. Congrats!

Congrats Ebuka!

you read it here first: THIS KID HAS A GREAT FUTURE!

Will he be CUSA ROY next year?

Excited to see Ebuka in Niner green in the Fall.

Going out on a limb, are you?

Not to steal any thunder from Izundu, but looks like Elon got a heck of a player in Santa Ana. 3 stars from most sites. Might want to pay attention to who is doing their recruiting down the road.

The kid can score and you can never have enough scorers.

Isn’t Elon’s coach out of the McKillop tree?
