Ebuka Izundu - 2015 C - requested release from LOI

Ive seen absolutely nothing to substantiate that story other than the usual pandering to the target audience.

frustrating, but he certainly has every right to explore every option and take every bit of his allowed time if he wants to. my solution to the frustration index is to not open the thread every time i turn my computer on. we’ll know when he decides!
i feel sure that ebuka has followed this and other schools’ boards so he must know all the “reasons” he “should” stay at home. plus he must realize by now that he couldn’t chose a place where he’d get more love! i’m convinced he could make a HUGE difference in the history of niner bb over the next several years while improving every aspect of his life.

so i fervently hope to see him in green next year, but he sounds like a sterling young man and i hope even more fervently that he enjoys and profits from his college experience, that he keeps his head screwed on right, and that he winds up on everybody’s all-Ameria list! go NINERS!

Nice… Love to keep him home, for all the right reasons.

I used to love the “Izundu commits” threads. Now I hate it for the stinking, decaying corpse it is becoming. Now insinuations are that this kid is being directed to teams with African-American head coaches. I can’t wait til he decides, and we can move the hell on. I pray that then this thread is locked and we don’t have to endure more of this debacle. (I know I can ignore it, and will if I have to.) >:(

Shut it down.

we are out of the running for Izundu he is going to choose between Arkansas, Tennessee, and Cincinnati

sad face.

I read this tweet about us not being in his final list and then took a big bite into my Burrito Supreme I ordered without sour cream…only to bite into a HUGE glop of sour cream!

Both reading the news…and the realization of biting into a large quantity of sour cream in which I detest…made me feel eerily similar.

Irony at it’s best.

Killed by CUSA.

Let’s lock this thread and have it removed from the site.

“Dingo took my baby!”
Killed by CUSA.
Were we helped by CUSA when he signed with us last year?

We were able to overcome that impedement because he was not quite as highly recruited. This time around we weren’t so lucky.

“Those three have good coaches in great leagues,” McCain said. “They are all very competitive and give him a chance to play top teams every night and go to the NCAA tournament.”
Killed by CUSA.
Nah, killed by losing our coaching staff.

While I would have loved to seen Izundu in green and white, I’ll trade Izundu for a new coaching staff 10 times out of 10.

I have no doubts he’ll be a good player and I hope he either loves his decision and has a fulfilling career or hates it so much he transfers home to play for us.

Per Wertz, it’s down to Arkansas, Cincy, and Miami.

If I had to guess, Arkansas.
