More likely our football stadium with 50k passionate pirate fans in it this past weekend. Not sure where you guys or Cof C took him on your september visits, but I would think you’d have a hard time matching that in demonstrating fan passion and the massive potential of what could be behind the basketball program with any success. Hopefully after experiencing it and seeing the new vison/commitment and plans for the $15 million dollar practice facility we’ll likely break ground on next year, he wants to come here and be one of the guys that helps turn it around with Lebo.
3 star on ESPN and graded higher than Terrance Williams by that service and also from Charlotte.
ESPN Writeup: “December, 2009: Roberts will be a top 15 player in the loaded 2011 class in North Carolina. Roberts is a “lights out” 3-point shooter and is a long and athletic 6’2 shooting guard. He does have good ball handling skills and would make a nice combo guard. In addition to being. In addition to being an outstanding offensive player, Roberts is a solid defender. When Roberts played for the Carolina Flight, he was always one of the best defenders. Right now, Roberts needs to gain more strength and muscle to become a high level player. That being said, Roberts will be a major coup for someone at the mid major plus level.”
Lebo seems to be doing pretty well in your back yard.[/quote]
When it comes to football Saturdays in Greenville, we’ve got nothing to say. You guys bring it down there, no doubt about it. However all your basketball program has going for it is a Tar Heel retread for a coach. Speaking of back yards, we’ll see how well we do in yours on December 1st.
