ECU vs Charlotte

It’s pretty well known anytime you have to resort to grammar smack you’re usually doing pretty poorly. (The color smack earlier however I think hit a new low). With a “sentence” as poorly crafted as your you might want to worry about your own grammar issues if you want to be a grammar policeman. It’s a message board. Who cares.[/quote]

In my case, it’s legit though. In the end of all this talk about how good your basketball team will be, your team will still be purple. I could never pull for a purple team. So if I’m a recruit, I would never play for a purple team.

Williams picks Charlotte.

paging stilljonesing…

your basketball program still sucks.

That you Roberto Boucher?

No need to talk junk to ECU. Charlotte already won the recruiting battle in Fall '92 for my services starting in Fall '93 over ECU. Revel in your victory. No need to hate on the loser.

that’s some funny shit right there.

B-B-B-B-but he was from Charlotte and obviously didn’t mind staying home and we were still neck and neck. That alone says a lot about the directions of the programs under this new leadership IMO. Congrats though. See you in a couple months.

Correct. It does say a lot about the direction of the program: UP. Coach with lofty goals and getting the players he’s targeting in the early period? Check.

Here’s a like you might want to share with Lebo. It was near and dear to us under Lutz but we don’t need it anymore: http://www.jucojunction.com

Man I can’t wait until we take over your tiny gym and show you that ECU still sucks at basketball.

but haven’t you been reading the thread. ezu is an up an coming program. they take recruits to football games. ::slight_smile:

hahahahahaha

Of course their program is up and coming. Can it really get any lower?

We ended up landing your boy Shamarr Bowden over Tim Floyd and defending CUSA champ UTEP with that grant. Lebo has assembled a nice backcourt to step in next year with Bowden and Missouri transfer Miguel Paul who played 12 minutes a game for an Elite 8 team as a freshman.

Apparently defense is not an ECU priority.

I assume you are saying he played no defense at UNCC, which is fine because I think defense is mainly an effort issue in many cases and how many freshman really play hard defense? Maybe your coach didn’t stress it enough with him. Either way we will get a a more mature version and 6 point a game average in only 10 minutes as a freshman is no joke. Obviously he had the green light and is worth a chance. I even remember you guys telling me before our game and that preseason how awesome he would be and how he would light us up. I think we filled our needs on the wing nicely with an older player in Bowden and a younger one in Roberts-Campbell.

Shamarr has so far commited to VT, Charlotte, Delaware and now ECU.
Good luck with that.

Only all the ones that turn out to be big time college basketball players.
