on our third game winning shot attempt. but a win is a win, just saying it wonāt shock me if we struggle. Wonāt shock me if i hear āthey/(insert players name) just didnāt missā. The fact that we destroyed GW makes me feel better though.
I think itās pretty safe to say weāll compete with anyone at home. Thatās better (atleast for fans) than in 05-06 (I believe) when we had a better road record than home record.

I donāt think a lot of players are going to have games like that against us at home. Itās on the road that Iām nervous.
im looking forward/dreading watching how our guys react at clemson, could be good if there are a LOT of fans thereā¦ becasue i dont think they have really played against a good opposing crowd yetā¦ maybe it will be better than no crowd at all?

A win. Iāll take one over a loss. But we looked like crap. Where the hell is the team that played so well and inspired against WF, davidson and SIU? Garrity, bless his heart, has added nothing so far. He drove the lane well a few times and then missed his shots. He HAS to hit those shots. I believe weāre better with Harris at the point.

I agree , Iāll take the W. We played great against Gardner Web in case you missed it. I thought Leemire played his worst game maybe in two years. We did miss several 3-5 footers, but in the end the defense shut the door at the most crucial points of the game. I have a feeling they were looking past this game as well. Give FD some credit after coming off 3 straight wins. They only shot 29% but were 9-22 from 3ā¦just shows how the 3-ball can keep you in the game. A lot of those 3ās were highly contested as wellā¦

We looked terrible, but this team will from time to time.
Our big guys really need to learn how to finish on offense. If Lee isnt stroking it from the outside, our offense is downright ugly.
At least Gaby can block some shots. Mack and Jones are about the slowest post defenders/rebounders Iāve seen in a while. If theyāre that slow they at least have to be more physical. We got beat on more free throw rebounds then Iāve ever seen in my life.
We did win with defense, at least. Hopefully we will kind of remember how to play basketball on āOā once Maryland comes into town. They are definitely beatable, and thats a big game for our young team. 9-4 heading into Clemson wouldnāt be too bad.

That was ugly but our defense didnāt let us down. Held them to 30% shooting and had 9 blocks. Gaby had 6 blocks, 6 points, and 8 rebounds in 18minutes!!! Nice game by AnJuan and Coley. Ian hit 3-6 from three. That was about it.
Lutz played Harris the second half. He said FD played various junk defenses that Gerrity was not prepared for. Also that Gerrity is not used to running so many sets. That he knows Gerrity can be creative and open up the floor but Gerrity and his teammates have to be together on it.
Notice in the first 2 Gerrity games, he called his own play and tried to create things where he hit a few layups, got some calls but forced things. Heās now running the plays but not being as productive. We need him to make this offense go. If Lee and Ian arenāt hitting, we canāt beat good teams the way weāre playing now. I see Gerrity and defensive rebounding as the two keys to the season. The other pieces look pretty good.

I pray that someone over in 104 said something to the kid on the front row wearing the carolina hat. I yelled at him but he didnt hear me, because I was sitting on the complete opposite side of 105. Seriously, I think it should be a rule that if you wear that crap, ESPECIALLY THAT UNC CRAP down in our student section you get the boot. I dont care whoās feelings are hurt.
