I can't believe 80% of this board thinks we will be 10-7 or BETTER.

Despite the A-10 being pretty bad this year, itâs just hard to look at our schedule and find more than 7-8 conference wins. Not suggesting we canât better that but on paper, Iâm just having a hard time finding enough wins to get us over .500. Hopefully, weâve turned the corner and Iâm proven wrong. But I think weâll have a tough time winning more than 2 (St. Joeâs/@ Richmond) of our next 7. And even those two arenât gimmes. Our first half of the A-10 schedule is really, really tough.

Metro, the way we have played â plus that of our fellow A-10 conference mates â I could see us winning 10 league games, though if we lost 10 games, I wouldnât be surprised either. The only consistency I have seen is inconsistency. Xavier should be, at worst, 12-1, instead of 9-4. Dayton has surprised at 10-3, but has proven to be mediocre on the road. Saint Lous, UMass, and GW are performing pretty much as expected, though the Colonials let one slip away they should have won at USC. The biggest underachievers thus far would have to Charlotte, Fordham, and the aforementioned Xavier. Just frustrating across the board.

I am not bothered by optimism, I just try to be a voice of freakin reason. I stated I hope we go 18-12. Look, I just bought 4 season tix, so you and NA can throw away your little âmetro wants us to failâ theory. Why would I want to drive 45 minutes to watch us lose, get realistic.
I just see a 6-6 team that on paper and TV⌠is average. Then again, the A10 is so bad 12-5 could be possible. Sadly, 18-10 probably gives us an rpi of 120-130, where we used to come in around 50 rpi.
