Final record predictions
thank you Reverend Jackson
That will get the butts in the seats!

I love you guys…I really do, but let’s don’t get jacked over winning three in a row against bad teams. Lutz is Lutz and this team is NOT very talented. If we win more than 13, I’ll be quite surprised. I want us to do well, but the realist in me tells me there’s no way in hell.
easy its ok to typo…
Look, I just bought 4 season tix
Can someone please post a BIG COOKIE pic here for Metro.

First, you state you’re going to stroke a big freaking check to the athletic program if Judy gets the new baseball stadium. You admitted here you never did it. And now you’re announcing you’ve bought season tickets when for several years you’ve vowed not to spend money on the program until Judy is gone. :wow:  Whatever man. Slow down and think about your statements and actions.

I’m going with 10-7 (hey, it could happen). I agree with Jcl though, our conf. schedule starts out very tough - we could very easily go 3 - 6 or worse in our next 9 games. Even if that does happen the last 8 games are very winnable - this team will just have to keep their heads up and continue to play as a team, even if they aren’t winning right away.
For those that think we will only lose 5 games the rest of the year - I want some of what you are drinking
uh…have u seen the quality of our A-10 apponents? I think 11-5 or 10-6 in the conf and we’ll beat UL Lafayette so call it 17-12 and hopefully a bye in the tournament

if we make it to our conf tourney, I will do cartwheels…

if we make it to our conf tourney, I will do cartwheels....

what would you do if we won the conference tourney?

Curtis Withers living in Turkey?

you’re obviously thinking locically today…

lets see:
a. former alumni buys 4 season tickets and somehow you find a way to criticize it.
or
b. former alumni boycotts season tickets a few years and you find a way to criticize it.

which way do you want it dude? actually one of YOUR former frat brothers I believe talked me into the tickets. Empty arenas don’t land nice recruits. I will continue to boycott the “foundation.” Give it a rest.

what would you do if we won the conference tourney?

backflips for sure

You have GOT to tell me where i can buy this.
How’s everyone feeling about the rest of the season? 6-6 with 17 to play.
I wanna know why 17-0 is not an option in this pole?

Undefeated baby!!!

No seriously…I we go .500 the rest of the year…I will consider it a success…

We are just not very good.

I’m glad you changed your mind on tickets. You’re right, we need all we can get. I would say you started it but that would be childish.

I think we’re better today than we were 3 weeks ago and I like the fact that this team doesn’t quit (unlike teams from recent past). I just don’t see the toughness of the upcomming schedule?? If (big IF) we can pull out the Dayton road game we should win the next 4 St Joes & Dayton at home and a horrible Richmond team on the road. GW and SLU are losses. U gotta beat UMASS and La Salle at home. We’ll lose to Xavier on the road, but then should run the table, except for Temple and maybe one other road game. I’m going with 10-6. Wofford is better than most of the teams our conference opponents have beaten. Hell Wofford is better than most of our conference opponents!!

 So far, I gotta side with metro on this thread. The “Reverend Jackson” comment killed me.

I’ll go with 10 conference wins only because that’s what Run49or predicted. I used Run49or’s OOC predictions to predict a 4-5 start to the season, so I came pretty close to looking really smart. Truth is, I have no idea what the future holds. All I know is that the Houston loss really bothered me and it still stings. Winning the loser’s bracket and beating Wofford helped, but I still don’t know what to make of this team.

Wow.

Wofford’s bench is better than St. Bonaventure, for sure, but you believe Wofford is better than most of our conference mates? That’s a stretch.

It would be nice to split the Dayton games and I’d LOVE a sweep. St. Joe’s makes me really nervous. Phil Martelli led a St. Joe’s team with a mediocre OOC to a 14-2 conference record a couple years ago and I think the league is vastly underestimating them this year. Their guards are just going to get better with experience. Richmond is awful but that team has our number. Maybe we’ll get our revenge from last year. SLU is really good and that team has our number, too. As much as I love Carl Elliot, GW is a game that can go either way. UMass is gonna be TOUGH. We’re not gonna beat them inside, that’s for sure. LaSalle is the only game I feel comfortable about and Xavier can potentially embarrass us. I see the toughness of the schedule, but I hope you prove me wrong.

The only A-10 game that I see as a sure win is Bona and that’s not because of the players but the coach. Solomon is just awful! While I certainly don’t expect a 1-15 A-10 run for the Niners, nothing is going to surprise me (well, 16-0 sure would! ).

The only way I think we will go 16-1 or 17-0 is if the team can have some really melodramatic moment where they figure out what is wrong and have a big, heart-touching breakthrough as a team, which then starts a montage backed up with music like “Eye of the Tiger” or something like that.

Bobby should make the team watch all of the “Mighty Ducks” and “Major League” movies together. If we can get this montage going right, we may even get in the NCAA tourney.

Our team needs a “slow clap” moment… like in Lucas.
