49erā¦fair enough.
Last 2 years of recruiting have been pathetic. It just happens to coincide with us losing our best recruiter. Well, now he is back. Let us give this new staff a chance of getting things together. I have heaed ALOT of good things of what is too come. Patience my friend.
Whatās to come, another 14-16 season. Lutz sucks.
I dont need to prove myself to anyone. If I started to talk about āfootball talkā I would not make any sense to you all. For I would break down what nneds to be done to really start a football team. Sticking to the original post, Charlotte will be just fine.

See thats total bull. Just break it down. If we don't understand, so be it. If you don't try, it's both rude and silly. You know what they say about assuming...

saying basically āI know the way to footballā and āI know how Bobby is going to make this team betterā
and then not adding anything gets you no where as far as I am concerned. You have to add something to it, anyone can come on here and act like they know something.
Football = money.
Questionā¦Where is the money going to come from to form a staff?
2nd⦠If people are serious about starting a football program you better get a head coach willling to sell the program to the AD.
You canāt start a program unless there is a head man with a āplanā of attack for the future to ensure that the money spent was well spent.
The head coach will obviously not be a big name. Therefore you have to look elsewhere for someone who has had sucess somewhere elseā¦i.e⦠arena leagueā¦juco.
3rdā¦confernece to play inā¦cant start to high nor too low, SAC would be goodā¦etc
Why I think football would be great, I dont see this AD giving money to start a f-ball program while they dont even give enough now to our one major sport to retain our top assistants and give what it takes to be a big time b-ball program.
For f-ball to be a sucess it will take triple the money of what it cost to maintain a competitive b-ball program.

See? That wasn't that hard was it? It was pretty much stuff we all already knew, but it was still more than just saying, "I know everything." AND there was not one bad word. Good job. I'm proud.
nobody disagrees that football will take money, but the part about āpaying assistants moreā is flawed b/c we actually countered with delonte and offered him more that KSU did.
I donāt see where having a JUCO/arena or any coach for that matter has any deal with just coming in, it isnāt what ODU is doing, and I doubt that is what USF did. ODU hired the help of two distinguished college football people after the fact of announcing plans to get football. However, if that is what you are looking for, CFI actually did recieve an email from someone like this, he is actually a 49er grad, and offered to help in any way he could. I donāt really know if I can go much further than that.
As for the AD part I think that she wonāt put up the money b/c on the lines of what you were saying about needing someone else to help, it might just cost her, her job. She doesnāt have any experience with football.
Juco= having ties with local football coaches for recruiting purposes.
Juco= knowing what it takes to get a kid qualified who is border line anywhere else.
Juco= Having limited resources, yet getting big time players to play for your program.
Juco= guys who know how to bend rules, yet not break them.
Juco= Qualified coaches who were passed over and have something to prove on the D-1 or D-1 AA level.
Juco= coaches who are hungry for the oppurtunity especially at such a school in the geograhy of which Charlotte is in.
i am sorry but that may be the dumbest thing I have read on getting football. I would love to see a JUCO coach come in and knock on Dubois door and say, āI am going to help you get football, I can get a kid qualified who is border line anywhere else and bend rules, yet not break themā
I will agree that maybe a JUCO coach gets hired later on especially to get some Juniors on the team, but I see no point in one coach having any push toward getting us a team.
NinerIDā¦who in the hell would you get to coach then?
I am sorry, but after reading your comments I know you have never played football at a high level nor any sport for that matter. No Offense.
