i am sorry but that may be the dumbest thing I have read on getting football. I would love to see a JUCO coach come in and knock on Dubois door and say, "I am going to help you get football, I can get a kid qualified who is border line anywhere else and bend rules, yet not break them"I will agree that maybe a JUCO coach gets hired later on especially to get some Juniors on the team, but I see no point in one coach having any push toward getting us a team.
Tom Osborne built a program on this philosophy.

Please read what i wrote. A juco coach might be a good idea AFTER football is initialized here, mainly b/c of it being a startup program we would have some solid juniors in the program. A juco coach would not be someone that would just floor the administration and make them decide to have football tomorrow.
I am agreeing with you on the coaching aspect, but not as a deal maker for football.
There is an old saying in sports that āa team is a reflection of the coachā. If that is really true, Bobby must be in a god-awful funk for not getting the UT job and this is what WE get. Iām willing to give him another year to pull our program out of this psychotic break, but after that I would like to see him move on and get himself well, so our program can too.
