Problem is if other coaches at Charlotte can bring in better talent than they are losing with the same issues then it points back to the coach. 9 months ago Ron didnāt have that target on his back, but Poggi has proven that you can recruit well to Charlotte with the rules in place. Results versus potential is a different conversation, but Ron needs to recruit better potential in the portal than what is leaving. Recruiting and player retention is still a coach responsibility regardless of the rule set. You have to weigh that as an AD in your evaluation process.

I knew Ron didnāt cut it 10 months ago.
He left bc we werenāt winning. He said so in an interview. If it were for nil, he would have left sooner

Young leaving is not nearly as disappointing as the fact we had him 3 years & accomplished nothing. Thatās the problem. Players are going to transfer up when they have the chance. Good coaches at our level have to take advantage of players like that while they have them.
clt says we should be creating star players for other schools, just ask ron

I try so hard to get behind these guys, but this type of result has happened SO MANY TIMES. Love Ron as a person but this just canāt be seen an acceptable showing in year five of his tenure

Not going to vote until after the season but last night was a really bad loss. They have to be able to win that kind of game. Period. He didnāt have them ready to win.
