Eye of the tiger has my vote. Considering how we are treated and no one gives us a chance to do anything it seems like the right song and you can loop the start of the song to make the build up as long as you need it to be.
How about Kid Rockās āAmerican Badassā? Because weāre equal parts irritating and obnoxious to our opponents. :))

As far as Haste the Day, Lamb of God, etcā¦ first of all it is a bit up-tempo. Good intros are aggressive but steadyā¦ creates tension.
Plus, those donāt have the staying power. We need something that will stay the same from one year to another.

As annoying as it is hearing 2001: A Space Odyssey and Sandstorm every five minutes walking through a South Carolina tailgateā¦ itās pretty cool for them to have those go-to songs.
Also, after reading through the entire thread again, I am 100% behind Welcome Home. To my knowledge, nobody has claimed it yetā¦ it is one that works great for an intro and that we can claim as our own and let it grow with us. I can see ESPN commentators going silent during the intro in the 2030ās if we go with that one.
(not to mention thereās an awesome mob chorus in it that would be sick if the student section ever picked it up)

I donāt want anything with lyrics. I donāt want anything that has been in the top 200 or gotten radio time. No Linkin Park, Drowning Pool, or any other lame overplayed cliche. I only want composed instrumentals. To me, an instrumental sounds like itās written for that moment. A song from a well known artist is taking the cheap way out.
