You donât have to thank me. Iâm just doing my duty.

:mad:I know rightâŚI hope the people trashing our 49er name arenât from around here cause if they are they need a history lesson
They obviously donât know our history and probably are not from around here. If I hear one more moron dissing our nickname because weâre not in California, Iâm going to verbally piss on them. Ignorant a-holes. Thanks to one guy, Lewis, who tried to educate them.

Think that means we will wear predominantly white jerseys, kind of like the panthers, who only wear black for half of their home games? Or it just looked better on a mural? Also I thought we had two different pair of green pants before, now I am almost positive.

NCAA is a bit stricter about home and away jerseys. Pretty sure weâll wear green jerseys every home game.

Iâm ok with the idea of Green every home game. Personally I like the Green jersey/White pants combo the best, but that could just be me. I like how the combination makes the whole uniform stand out a little bit more.
Seeing that picture, I think it would have looked good and not over complicated things to have gold in the stripes on the side of the pants. Uniform looks great regardless.

Not stricter, just most teams donât wear white at home. All the rule says is that the teams have to wear contrasting colors, and home team gets the first pick of what uniform to wear.
Wear the white-on-white-on-white at home. Walk out of the tunnel to the Imperial March. Weâd instantly become the favorite team of nerds worldwide.

The white on white on white is my fav combo. Iâd love it if we made that our signature.
At the 1:35 mark Coach mentions that Inaugural Game options are down to Green on Green or Green on White. Of course like everything else that may not be concrete.

I hope it is green on white. Green on green is dreadful, especially on a green field.
The green jersey white pants is far an away the best combination, it looks very clean and professional.
I think I kind of get why thereâs less gold too with that latest picture thatâs been released. The black piece is 100% mesh. I canât imagine gold would look too good there. That is going to be so sweat soaked under the arm pit. #1 I donât think gold would look great in that meshy material. #2 Ever notice how football jerseyâs change color as players sweat? I think gold in that particular location would be awful. After it was soaked with sweat it would just look brown.

BTW, I think that is one driving factor behind people looking for more gold. Itâs the jersey up until now.
Look at the Sweat box on under the numbers on the front. By the end of the game thatâs going to be an entirely different green as it is. I personally think this is really cool, as it shows you how far the technology of the game has evolved. I know some purist hate the idea of two tone jerseys. Hereâs an article about it: http://espn.go.com/blog/playbook/fandom/post/_/id/8675/nike-unis-bring-sweatbox-pattern-to-nfl
That Jetâs jersey is what we are going to look like.
I sent a picture of the four uniform combinations to a buddy in Iowa who is a Cyclone, but keeping up with our progress. His reply:
A great strategy of having everyone with #49, too. That always confuses the defense and the referees like it because all penalties are on #49.
