This is great! I really hope ours gets this kind of exposure!
Ours should say, “FIRE JUDY, WE’LL EVEN TAKE COMPHER”
If we flew that banner at a baseball game, Judy would never know about it.

I’d love to see our next AD hired from Houston, Cincinnati, Memphis, or USF. They are all public schools in larger metro areas and have elevated their sports programs since we shared the same conference home.

Wasn’t someone supposed to be leaving or getting fired this week?
Wasn’t someone supposed to be leaving or getting fired this week?
Someone is leaving the AD, yes. I don’t know the exact timeline, not too juicy IMO.

Here is Nugget’s post on the person leaving.
I am putting this here because it is not worth another thread. It will be announced soon that someone is leaving. I think the people of the board will generally view this as a good opportunity, until we do three pages on Judy hiring the replacement.

I can’t tell you who it is, but I did want to stir up the muck, so have at it. I think you may find out next week.
Let me guess, some low level staffer I never heard of quit/resigned/fired/retired, & you were just getting our hopes up it was Rose/Lambert/Price.

I said that it wasn’t worthy of its own thread. Clearly, that alerts you that it isn’t Rose/Lambert/Price. I suspect you have heard of this person, and the right hire could make a difference. I would not look for a big announcement, it will not be in the paper, it is not that kind of position. This person has accepted another job not at a university. I cannot tell you who because it is not my news to tell. I wish them good luck, and I hope we hire somebody with good experience.

clt wishes the best to the leader of our burgeoning AFAM program.

Doesn’t matter who they hire because no matter what position it is they take marching orders from Judy. You can have the best troops in the world but if your general sucks you aren’t going to win the war.

When the time comes I suggest we interview this guy. We need someone not afraid to do the things required to win.

We should be begging Tom Jurich former AD at Louisville to come here. One of the best ADs in history. NCAA rules aren’t that important apparently.

Boy does this sound familiar.

I suggested this in another thread a week or 2 ago. We need to sign him ASAP because he has his work cut out for him.

Maybe UNC-CH will so horrify Judy that she’ll resign from college athletics in disgust. ;D

When Jerry Richardson fired George Seifert after going 1-15 in 2001 (where they lost the final 15), Richardson said the following:

‘‘The energy has been sucked out of our organization and our fan base.’’ ‘‘We’ve lost 15 in a row. We were 31st in the league in offense and 31st in defense. It couldn’t continue. I had to make a change.’’

That quote is so ironic, considering we play in Jerry Richardson Stadium. However, that quote can be used to describe what Judy Rose has single handedly done to Charlotte 49er athletics. Every major revenue sports decision she has made has been an utter failure.

ROSE MUST GO.

We need to start booing Judy every time she appears for anything, they’ve been really good about putting her in good PR spots, but at this point, we need to start being relentless. We used to be known as “The Philadelphia Eagles fans of Tobacco Road” and we need to bring that back out.

In summary: Even if Judy is dressed as Santa, and is asking a child what they want for Christmas, we need to start booing.

I’d be all for this, except now I fear that those fans actually willing to attend games are more of the sort that wouldn’t join in with the booing, and perhaps even attempt to stop it. We have a bunch of naive supporters that think we should just be content with having football, and don’t approve of attacking Lambert/Judy because they’re “good people”, and because our program is “still new.”

The boobirds should make a point to sit together and be as loud as possible for most effect.

I got a better than anticipated reaction when I was yelling “PLEASE RETIRE JUDY” at the A&T game.

Boo her for the sake of booing is a bit extreme.

That being said, did she break anything when V-Ball lost? :))
