I canât even imagine ECU wanting to play us in the Rich in its current capacity.
Neither can I, but one thing is for sure. If they did, demand for tickets would be at a premium.
I feel like ECU would draw better than uncch
We havenât played a FBS game and we should demand teams to play at our place? Haha
Home and home games with EMU donât build the fanbase , these games do. Play them wherever and let them dictate the gate within reason. Beating UNC-CH would ignite the fan base in a huge way. Might even raise the funds to get expansion to 40K.

âŚor motivate the UNC BOT to take action to have our program disbanded, a la UAB. :
clt says we should not bother scheduling a fake college.
Does anyone know if FSL owners will get tickets to games at B of A stadium if we get to play someone there?
Just an assumption on my part but if we have to pay rent on the facility the we probably would see a separate ticket for the BOA game, similar to the TWC basketball game a few yrs ago. With that said if we are getting the majority of the ticket sales rev then maybe they will just include it in the ticket package.
Easy, killer. Letâs get our first FBS win first.
Iâm guessing the time frame on these games would be 2020 and beyond.
Iâm sure the only way either of them play a home and home with us is if our home game is in Bank of America stadium. With all the WalMart fans around here that really takes the âhomeâ part of the game away from us.
UNC yes. Duke no. Despite their success the last few years they still donât have many football fans.
Regardless, I donât want to play a home & home with anyone who refuses to come plat at the Rich.
Then you should probably up your donations significantly and earmark it for expansion of the stadium because weâre not going to get any ânameâ teams to come play us at home with 15,000 seats.
Will be Green Jacket status this year and doing what I can to help. It will take the help of more than 1 person. If a ânameâ team is too good to play at our small stadium, the hell with them.
Youâre trying to be part of the solution, tricky? Interesting concept.
I donât care to play UNC-CHeat. Not worth the hassle, IMO.

This is exactly how i feel.

I was saying it was a possibility and not a given.

I would love nothing more than to beat Chapel Hill - bit given how almost every game we have played against them I think it is almost impossible to get a fair shake and based on that I would rather just not play them.
Iâm sort of the same way. Now donât get me wrong Iâll be at BoA in green from head to toe if it happens, but them pulling out of the 2016 seems to be systematic of issues that come when dealing with Chapel Hill. As far as events down town go, I thought the baseball game versus State this year at Knights Stadium was spectacular. I think they would bring just as many fans as Chapel Hill, and would be as attractive to our fan base as the Holes I would think. I wonder if thereâs any interest from them?
I do think Duke would play us on campus if we are at 25k.
Getting those games set up a few years out is going to be one of biggest factors to justify expansion before those games are even played.
Bottom line is we need to expand to 40k. This is why you do it and you donât need to sell out every game to justify it.
I agree.
I agree.
It would be nice if we had someone selling us, and folks in our community, on the vision of a 40k seat stadium. If we want to bring in opponents from top conferences to our campus, we need to act like it.

Yes, it would beâŚI am not even so hung up on the â40,000â number but we ABSOLUTELY should be talking/planning/hyping expansion to atleast 25-30,000 right now.
