Future 49er Football Schedules 📅

But we DO!

Not the same thing.

Bad enough though.

I like having games that are drivable, and while not a fan of the ATL I don’t mind playing them on a semi-regular basis like this. Speaking of the SBC, I wonder if scheduling this series means that any future App games will be played post 2023?

.@Charlotte49ers-Ga. State game on Sept. 4 will have 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU

Ga State must have a field hockey game scheduled for that night or something.

THIS will only guarantee even less attendance. Will look pathetic on the U. When we get the win, I won’t care.

I think the Georgia Dome just wants the extra time to flip the turf for the chick-fil-a kick-off game between Louisville and Auburn on Saturday at the same time.

…and they’re doing it indoors!

Big news from the Triad golf outing is we are working on a Home at Home with UNC and Duke.

Awesome news! Any other news from the outing?

I’m sure the only way either of them play a home and home with us is if our home game is in Bank of America stadium. With all the WalMart fans around here that really takes the “home” part of the game away from us.

UNC yes. Duke no. Despite their success the last few years they still don’t have many football fans.

Regardless, I don’t want to play a home & home with anyone who refuses to come plat at the Rich.

If we could beat either one of them I would play on the moon. The perceived value of a win would be enormous.

I don’t mind playing some games a BOA - but not if we are giving up the majority of the box. If we take a game off campus we need to reap the economic benefits of doing so.

Will be Green Jacket status this year and doing what I can to help. It will take the help of more than 1 person. If a “name” team is too good to play at our small stadium, the hell with them.

I just don’t see anyone like UNC, NCSU, VT, Clemson, etc. ever being willing to play us on campus. UNC and NCSU might if we actually expand to 40,000, but I’m still not sure they would. I don’t mind playing at BoA at all, but like you said, we better be getting >50% of the revenue from the game.

If the ACC championship game stays in Charlotte, that may help us land some ACC opponents so teams can get their players familiar with playing in that stadium during the regular season like some basketball teams will do for future NCAA tournament venues.
