Easy, killer. Letâs get our first FBS win first.
I was saying it was a possibility and not a given.
Judging by what they did to ODU, Iâd say weâre a long way from being able to compete with mediocre P5 schools.
Bottom line is we need to expand to 40k. This is why you do it and you donât need to sell out every game to justify it.
Agree with the second half, but I htink 40k is a mistake.
It isnât the worst thing in the world to not sell out, but it would be awful to have 40k seats and less than 20k fans in the stadium, and that will definitely happen during bad years.
30k is a much more fitting size. Even ODU is targeting a 30-35,000 seat stadium and theyâve sold out every home game theyâve played.

Fox Regionals and ASN love the noon starts. Get used to it, unfortunately. ASN was obligated to choose 30 games. Itâs doubtful C-USA would allow anyone to say no.
Only two away games not televised (so far). Thatâs not bad at all. I suspect the Kentucky one will be available online, at least, with solid production.
We really need a primary affiliate for ASN locally. None of this alternate channel mess. One of the local channels needs to pick up those games - the production costs are paid for already.

Iâm pretty sure our deal with WCCB has at least another year. Iâm willing to bet they broadcast all our home games with ASN.

They were showing non-niner games on ASN last year sometimes, so no reason to believe they wonât keep showing our games in the future.

I would say no because the Noon games suck ass both from a scheduling and heat perspective. The people in the stands are the ones that have built the bedrock of this program by contributing money, buying FSLs and buying tickets. Our plans should revolve around the comfort of our fans and getting butts in seats, not some garbage TV coverage.
Frankly this pisses me off. We spend all this money on lights and now we have three games scheduled at shitty times. The Friday game sucks. If you have kids in HS football or band your not going to be able to go to this game.
The Presbyterian game sucks because itâs going to be hot as hell. We are going to have the same issues we had the last two years with heat and attendance. Itâs also the best chance we have this year of a win and attendance will be lacking. We are going to be sitting their in the heat with perfectly good lights sitting there unused.
The southern miss game sucks because although it will likely not be miserably hot, this is the homecoming game. Having it early negates lots of stuff that could be done on campus during the day.
Half our games (at least, two are still in the air folks) are going to be at non traditional game times.
Itâs like we are selling our soul just to be on crappy TV.
The whole situation with the lights was garbage the last two seasons and now the schedule is still garbage.
How the hell are we supposed to build a fan base like this??!??!!??
Not what I was expecting when I forked over my FSL and season ticket $.
Sorry to be negative guys, but thatâs how I see it.
Really, the only problematic start time is So Miss because its homecoming.
The Presby game, who cares.
Love it if we get every game on TV. Thatâd be amazing.

We do not have a choice - can bitch all you want - but ASN is part of the Conference USA package, and we have to follow it. Every team plays a few noon games. May not like it, but this is not US saying yes or no to ASN - its part of being in a conference.
My tickets for Presbyterian will now be for sale
Yeah, Presby is going to be a scorcher.

There will be a ton of noon games on 9/12 so itâs not like we are the only school to play that early. Oh and a lot of those are early so they can be on TV which is determined by their conference TV deal, not the schools.
No one said lights would mean all night games and itâs impossible to schedule every game so it has zero conflicts.
A little heat and everyone gets their panties in a wadâŚwow.

Home and Home, and with an ACC school too.
Love that we got a Home and Home
