I donāt think this has been posted but it looks like he is going to wind up at High Point University.
I wish him the best. He always seemed like a nice guy, but I dont think he had the talent to be very much of an impact in the A10. HPU would be a good fit for a player like him. GOOD LUCK MITCH
didnāt one of our girl players go there too? Leslie cook is who i am thinking about. She got pissed at her situation last year because she wasnāt going to start and transfered out.
Mitch will have to work hard at HPU as well. Bart Lundy loads up each season with new players after he dismisses those who donāt fit in. 8 freshmen and 5 sophmores form the bulk of the team. The Panthers are currently 10-7 after losing their last 3 games. They have a stud in 6-5 soph Arizona Reid from Gaffney, who averages 20.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. He averaged 4.6 ppg and 3.9 rebounds last season.
Another former 49er, Leslie Cook is doing great at High Point. She became eligible this semester and dropped 17 against Liberty in a game for first place in the Big South last night. In 9 games (with 4 starts), Cook is second in scoring at 11.0 ppg, second in blocked shots with 9, and will easily lead the team in 3-pointers (currently third with 18; leaders have 25 and 20 respectively) even though she missed the first 8 games.
okay, whatever happened to Mitch Mullis?
He doesnāt play for High Point, where did he end up. Now that we are well over a year and a half removed from this, what really happened? Did he get caught with pot in his room or something?
It doesn't effect us this year however it will in a year or two.
