Good 'Ol Observer Again...

Nice…

What the heck does Ron Green Jr. have against Niners?

ATLANTA at BUFFALO: Pop quiz time: Does anyone know how many first downs J.P. Losman and the Buffalo offense produced in the first half against Tampa Bay last Sunday?

Here’s a hint – it was less than two and more than zero.

Let’s take a moment here so the UNCC students can figure it out. Everybody got it now? Good. Yes, it was one. They’ll be better this week. Bills 27, Falcons 24

What kind of crap is that?

Really – what is that? I just sent him a quick Email asking why he chose to insult our school when we struggle with the Observer enough anyway.

Last week: 7-9

Season: 14-18 Ron

Heck of a season brewing Ron…

What is this guy’s e-mail???

Seriously, Ron Jr. can be reached at:

How true…his dad I though/think is ok, but jr…

What an ass.

Man, he’s just having a little fun.

Don’t take it so seriously.

Who is this guy anyway…where does he come from; what school did he go to?

And I’m only having a little fun when I send him a paper bag full of steaming feces with “Contents of this bag > everything you’ve ever written” on it.

He has a B.S. degree in Coprophillia from the UNC-CH school of fish wrap hackery.

Run, I bet you can help me out here because I don’t remember the details. A few years ago Ron Jr. wrote something negative about us in the paper and it was not factual. Judy Rose called him on it and the paper printed a correction, but I do not believe that Jr. had a comment. Any idea what I am thinking about?

Are you sure a paper bag is big enough.

Over the years, Ron Jr. has been pretty equal opportunity with his jokes in the Friday Forecast. Clemson, UNC, N.C. State, Duke, you guys … everybody’s been a target. Don’t take it so seriously.
FWIW, Ron Jr. spent two years at UNCC before transferring to Chapel Hill.

More BS from a member of the acc marketing department.

Did he make comments aimed specifically at the sub-par intelligence of the students at those other schools? If so, was there any backlash? I’d love to read some of them if they are online or if you remember any of the details.

I’d like to see Ron Jr. actually list all the numbers between 0 and 2. I’ll even give him a hint that there’s more than one.

True, he did a good job honing his writing skills for The Carolina Journal at UNCC before transferring to UNC-Chapel Hill.

I’d have to give him a free pass on this one.

Yeah he sent me back an email mentioning the same thing. That he didn’t mean to indict the University he attended, he just wanted to make a joke. Unfortunately a very lousy one.

Ron Jr. is a good guy. I worked with him at our school paper back in the mid 70’s.

I have run into him a few times since then and he keeps up with our team.

He definitely has nothing against us. He just had a bad lapse in judgement with his comment.

was that the name of the school paper at that time? now it’s the name of John Hood’s paper.
