Goodman on the unbeatens: Real Deal and the Frauds

Guess which category he put the Niners in!

Can’t argue too much. Lets keep winning and then see what people say. He says we lose Wednesday, let prove the doubters wrong.

Just win.

Again…someone needs to make sure the team reads this.

Email it to them…or to the coach.

I sent it to some of the players on twitter.

This makes me want to destroy Davidson even more. Fuck the naysayers. By the way, Davidson is going black out at the game from what I’ve heard, so let our masses wear white bitches.

Win. Let the rest take care of itself. It’s a long season.

We are the real deal. We have played a bunch of games that a Charlotte team should win, and we have. For the first time in years. REAL. DEAL.

Ironically our schedule hasn’t been much different than Arizonas…

Well it depends on how you define “real deal.” If by, Final 4 contentions, I would say that the Niners are indeed pretenders. I don’t see this as a trashing. Is it better to be an undefeated pretender or an oft-defeated contender?

I did not expect a start like this, despite the weak schedule.

Let’s just beat the children of the privleged on Wednesday and become the worst 8-0 team in the country.

Davidson will be a good test. If our offense can score at all we will win. Defense is not a problem. Go Niners! Just keep winning.

I’m not sure I’d argue with the characterization of the Niners schedule so far though. Just need to keep winning and the respect will follow from guys like this. Hope the team proves this guy wrong starting tomorrow.

Fewer will call us pretenders if we get through Davidson. I can’t imagine many saying it, at all, if we get through Miami. Only the O will be saying it if we get through FSU.

The O would call us pretenders all the way to the final four.

I don’t fault anyone for calling us a fraud - now after Davidson if we are still unbeaten then hopefully a win at Miami we def aren’t. We have done nothing over the last 10 years that gets us the benefit of the doubt and Major’s track record once we hit conference isn’t exactly stellar. We are just going to have to prove ourselves all year. Just win one game at a time.

^^^^ What NWA said.

I’ll gladly be the fraud unbeaten. You know why? Because you’re still unbeaten. :stuck_out_tongue:

How about we finish a season above .500 before we complain about national columnists seeing us as pretenders.

I have enjoyed the season so far as much as anyone on here but I am a lot less optimistic looking forward. It’s just my nature as a fan until a team proves me otherwise over a longer span of games. Truth is, we have been irrelevant for almost a decade so why the hell would I feel different.
